Very decent line-up of journalists there, hope it goes well.

Is this not exactly what Frank Burke does in Hurling World? Or is that now defunct? Anyway best of luck to all involved.

I haven't heard that Hurling World is defunct, you'd have to ask Frank.

It's not as if it's a crowded market for Hurling magazines - hopefully Sliotar will get a good audience, the quality of the writers involved should make it an interesting read for hurling fans that don't see much written about the game in the traditional press.

I hope it is a big success. Hurling has been crying out for a Magizine like this. It is super for me as I am living in a Football and it is next to impossible to get any kind of a magizine which deals completely with hurling. ALL SUPPORTERS WHO CARES ABOUT HURLING IN EVERY COUNTY SHOULD SUPPORT THIS. It has taken so long to arrive. lONG MAY IT SURVIVE

Thanks for the comments/ wishes and queries.

I'd ask that posters here spread the word to others about Sliotar. Its an exciting but big undertaking and we appreciate the help and support of posters here from Kilkenny and other counties.

There's a "Tell A Friend" Form on the Sliotar website where you can alert a friend to the magazine's existence by simply typing in their email address and pressing send. It's that easy.
